For this reason, in December 2023, we successfully tested in our laboratories the LSC2A protected MT switchgear at 36kV, the MINIBLOC-636, for short-time withstand current at 20kA. The tests carried out yielded more than satisfactory results, confirming IME Group’s strong commitment to keeping pace with market demands. Indeed, photovoltaic plants are growing significantly, and, in parallel, the average capacity and voltage levels required are also increasing (from 24kV to 36kV). In such systems, it is essential to manage high energy levels while minimizing the risks of interruption.
